2018 GEC Annual Meeting – Seattle, Wa

​GEC Staff, Board of Directors, and Volunteers came together in September for our annual meeting in lovely Seattle! We’re thinking the stereotype of rainy gray Seattle is a lie fabricated to keep people away – we had sunny weather the whole week! It would have been easy to regret spending all day inside in meetings, except we’re all so fired up about plans for the coming year!

We had an incredibly productive set of meetings discussing GEC’s priorities and strategies for the coming year. We’re so excited to continue our role developing Emergency Care Practitioners and emergency medicine capacity in Uganda, bringing life-saving medical care to even more people.

​While in Seattle, we had an awesome fundraiser at a local brewery, Obec Brewing – thanks so much to everyone who came out!
